At Brighter Harmony Support, we provide flexible, person-centred disability support services, focusing on empowering our clients to achieve their goals and live independently. As a Casual Support Worker, you will be the heart of our service, assisting clients in their homes and communities with a variety of tasks tailored to their individual needs.
Personal Care: Providing respectful assistance with showering, grooming, and dressing.
Daily Living Support: Helping with household tasks like meal preparation and light cleaning.
Community Access: Supporting clients to attend appointments, participate in social activities, or go shopping.
Skill Building: Encouraging and assisting clients to develop life skills and achieve greater independence.
Respite Care: Providing vital support for families and carers to take a break.
A caring, reliable, and empathetic personality is a must!
A commitment to the choice and dignity of every client.
Excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to work casual shifts, which may include mornings, afternoons, or weekends.
A current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Individual Support) are desirable, but we value lived experience and a willingness to learn!
Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (where required).
